Bali is an Indonesian island known for many things like surfing, wellness retreat (natural view, villa, spa), cultural heritage, food adventure, world’s most expensive coffee, and Nyepi Day which is also known as “day of silence”. These are some of the things that made Bali such a beautiful place. I was even lucky enough to visit this island twice.
September last year, my husband and I went back to Bali, Indonesia to celebrate his birthday. We went out and explored the city during our first visit. For our second visit, we stayed in The Mulia Resort in Nusa Dua in Bali for a week. We booked this trip to do something different for his birthday and simply reward ourselves with our much needed rest. The hotel is pretty much the highlight of the trip besides the beautiful beach. All the food are very delicious and definitely authentic! The ambiance itself is calming. The people is very warm and welcoming. Everything about the hotel made our trip worth it.
During our first visit in Bali, this hotel is still under construction but the façade already looks promising. Even our tour guide told us that this will be one of the most luxurious hotel built in Bali that being said, I told myself that we will surely come back when it is fully established and open for tourist.
After a couple of years, we were able to come back and book a room in this hotel. I can honestly say that this hotel is one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever been! They sure live up to our expectations.
The hotel is divided into 3 parts: The Mulia, Mulia Resort, and Mulia Villas. We chose to stay at The Mulia, Grandeur. Our room has a generous patio size with a scenic view. Since our room is at the center of the Mulia, we can easily access the restaurants, bars, pools, and most especially walking distance from the beach.
We have the perfect view of the Nusa Dua Bay from huge elegant lounge areas and pools. This hotel is truly one of the best and will exceed your expectations. This hotel offers luxury suite experience and comfort that is perfect for our little birthday get away.
We also got the privacy we wanted because there are parts in the hotel that not everyone can access. Each part have special offers for the suite that you booked which may restrict you from going in other areas. Though some hotel rooms have private pools, the hotel has a common area which include some other choices of pool; besides the beach of course. The hotel also offers water activities that is perfect for all ages.
Mulia has 4 restaurants and 5 bars for you to choose from. You can have Chinese, Pan-Asian, Japanese & Mediterranean or other international cuisines with their own signature twist depending on your food choice.
The Mulia has 6 swimming pools that are different from each other but what makes this hotel unique is their main pool that definitely sets a high standard for others to live up to. The infinity pool is overlooking through the Indian Ocean that makes you feel like you can swim your way there. Swimming around is a complete luxurious experience.
From the beautiful view to the calming ambiance, my husband and I truly enjoyed our trip in Bali. The food is amazing, the staff was really helpful, and the beach is well-taken care of. I really felt relaxed after the trip. Just looking through this photos makes me want to go back and stroll along the beach to get away from the unpredictable Manila weather. We are definitely holding onto many good memories on this trip.
‘Till we meet again, Bali!
