Reading Terminal Market is a popular indoor farmer’s market in Philadelphia. They almost have all the food you would ever want. They have fresh pastries, fruits, meat, seafood, poultry and even vegan options that are locally grown. You can even get some of their pastries and baked goods hot because they are all made fresh everyday straight from the oven.
Reading Market is no doubt a good place to eat because it is always busy and crowded with tourists and locals which I can see because they serve delicious fresh foods like the Chelsea Market in New York. This place is perfect for indecisive eaters that are always having an issue on deciding what to eat because in Reading Market they serve different cuisines.
My friends suggested that we should try it out because they’ve been there before and they really enjoyed their food. We went there and tried their famous Philly Cheese Steak which I personally loved. I also recommend to get food from different vendors if you came in a group or family so that you can all get to taste different food items from each store. We also ordered sausages and roast chicken that lives up to all the hype and the price.
They are open every day. Mondays to Saturdays at 8am – 6pm and Sundays at 9am – 5pm.
Prepare $20-50 for food and $4 for the parking fee.
