Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai

Wondering where to spend your afternoon in Dubai? Souk Madinat Jumeirah is one of the spots you should visit in Dubai. This place is mixed with modern and traditional shopping culture of stalls from different brands. They also have 25 restaurants with different cuisines from all over the world including Asian, Italian, Indian, French, American, Lebanese and traditional Arabic. Apart from shopping and dining, it also has water canals where you can take an Abra Tour to take a closer look of the iconic Burj Al Arab.

It was our third day in Dubai and we spent our afternoon at Souk Madinat Jumeirah. We were impressed on how beautiful this place could be. It simply showed how Dubai can be so extravagant on everything. We couldn’t stop taking photos from every corner of this magical place.

After walking around, we took an Abra Tour to explore the “Little Venice” of Dubai as they call it. My eyes were so busy looking amazed by the beauty and uniqueness of the Arabian architecture. Now I know why they name this place- the jewel of Dubai.

An ABRA is a traditional boat made of wood, used to ferry people across the Dubai Creek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It was an afternoon well spent. Everything was worth the experience. This attraction is one of the most eye catching places in Dubai!
