Are you looking for some thrill, adrenaline rush and some unique views to capture? Bali Swing has become one of the most instagrammable spots and very famous all over Ubud. Since I’ve been seeing a lot of photos of people swinging over the jungle, I told myself that I wanna try it when I get back to Bali. It may look scary at the photos but in actual, it’s really safe and you will definitely get a unique experience.
The Bali Swing is a new playground for adults that has several different types of swings and the height varies. It overlooks a river that is surrounded by palm trees giving you the real jungle feel. It’s definitely a heart-pumping ride but the views are really worth it. But if you’re not that adventurous and might be afraid of heights, there are giant overhanging pods modeled after bird nests that you can sit and have photos taken just the same with the swing.
Bali Swing has numerous types of heights ranging from 10m, 15m, 20m, and 78m above the ground. Each swing has its unique thrill factor so choose your swing wisely. Regardless of the swing you choose, the spectacular view that you will see is guaranteed. All of them overlooks the river surrounded by palm trees.
Like what I said in the beginning, if you’re not a fan of heights but still want to try the experience, consider one of their Hanging Nests that is also scattered around the place. It’s really a good spot for photos. There is a ladder positioned below that allows the guests to climb into it and they will remove it afterwards to make it seem real that it was just hanging between the palm trees.
After trying all the swings my husband and I got a package with free lunch which I will give the details below. It was a buffet and the food was ok. I advice to come early coz in the afternoon, the queue for the swing are really long and it may take so much of your time just for one swing. Also, it is hard to get the perfect shot.
It was a great experience swinging through the jungle. Bali has so many activities to offer and this one is a must try. It’s generally safe and the staff are very attentive and accommodating.
